Powertrain Seals

In the transmission devices, such as engine, clutch, gearbox and drive bridges, transmission shaft could store the lubricating oil in the system, preventing the intrusion of dust or water from the outside. Therefore, the quality of seal determines the reliability and duration of your transmission system. From the light gearbox to the mill roller in the metallurgical industry, from the high-speed electric tools to the agricultural machine shaft pin, the solutions of Kempinski powertrain seals have been used widely.

• The greater abrasion resistance, the lower energy consumption

To enhance the abrasion resistance of greats, the applications of the additives, which contain the hypoid gear oil, gradually become a trend. For the standard Kempinski powertrain seals, in addition to its compliance with DIN3760 norms, it solves the compatibility problems when it mixes up with the aggressive lubricant materials. Optimized lip design also results in a smaller friction, thus, lower the energy consumption.

• The more flexible application, the more optimized performance

For the ultra-high speed and high pressured applications, the seals through Kempinski’s PTFE-modified material can provide the solution to a variety of combined cross-section. In a large gear box, Kempinski’s split or field bonded seal could greatly reduce the downtime that is used to replace the seal. Designed specifically for roller sealing system, it effectively overcomes the poor heat dissipation, poor external environment and other unfavorable factors to the lubricating grease seal. At the same time, its excellent effect on waterproof and dustproof maintains lubricant, which provides a good protection to the bearings.

In addition, Kimpinski’s box seal combination and wear bushings can avoid the direct friction between the sealing lip and the original shaft, and the cold forging and grinding friction surface also has a significant effect on prolonging the life of the seal. Because of that, the new surface of the shaft lever operates without being hardened or ground, and there is no need to do the troublesome machining machine work to the worn and old surface of the shaft lever.
